Shipping & Delivery

All orders placed on this site, phoned in to our retail location(s) or placed in person are subject to product availability and will be shipped in accordance with WROC’s shipping policies.  Please note, in the rare event that an order never arrives at the final destination; notification of such lost shipment/items must be received by WROC within 60 days from receipt of the shipping confirmation email.  Notifications past 60 days old cannot be refunded, tracked or reissued for any reason.

WROC ships any order over $75 (net of any application discounts) that is not oversized and/or overweight FREE of charge via ground shipping of our choice.  Sales tax, additional freight charges due to size, contents, weight or service fees are not used in the calculation of the FREE shipping.  Customer will be responsible for all shipping costs on oversized and over-weight items.  Shipping to Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, and all military post offices are exempt from the free shipping program.  Standard ground orders typically arrive within 3 to 10 business days, however, drop shipped items may take longer.

Every attempt is made to ship orders received prior to 10AM Mountain Time the same day.  Orders received after this time may be shipped the following business day but we will make every effort to ship any order in the day in which it was received.  WROC cannot guarantee order shipment times due to weather, construction or other instances out of our control.

Orders containing Gift Cards and no other merchandise purchases are shipped FREE of charge via USPS regardless order amount; expedited service is available for a flat rate of $10.

WROC primarily ships products via ground methods through UPS, however, WROC reserves the right to change, modify or alter shipping providers at its’ discretion.  WROC offers expedited shipping of customer orders with prior customer approval.  WROC currently only ships to the United States and Canada.

Privacy & Security

Wind River Outdoor Company takes customer’s privacy seriously.  Simply stated, WROC does not rent, loan, trade, sell or otherwise disclose and/or disseminate any information about our followers, customers and/or vendors to any person, organization or entity outside of the firm.

WROC does collect personal and demographic information in the order/fulfillment process of online, call-in orders and instore purchases and operation of the WROC website and related sites.  This information is solely used in the processing of orders and in delivery of said order(s).  In addition, WROC collects necessary personal information when a customer has subscribed to our email, follow our social media platforms and/or physical mailers or when store personnel have been requested to call someone regarding store operations or orders.  Again, this information is kept confidential and will not be released to any outside organization, persons or entity for any reason.  Customers understand and agree to such collection and use of such data.  WROC does not knowingly collect nor store any data of any individual under the age of 13 years of age to be in compliance with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).  Further WROC does not knowingly market to any person under the age of 13 years old.

In accordance with CAN-SPAM Act, WROC hereby declares that:

WROC collects your email address in order to:
• Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.
• Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders
• We may also send you additional information related to your product and/or service.
• Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred

To be in accordance with CANSPAM we agree to the following:
• NOT use false, or misleading subjects or email addresses;
• Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way;
• Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters;
• Monitor third party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used;
• Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly;
• Allow users to unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of each email.

If at any time, a customer would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, they can email us at email address at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from ALL correspondence.

Returns & Replacements

WROC offers a 30-day, no-questions-asked return policy on any item purchased through our physical store and/or online site(s).  WROC will gladly exchange, offer instore credit or refund any item that is returned with the original sales receipt and is in like-new condition* with all product tags and original packaging intact and undamaged.  Sales of licenses, service fees, rental agreements, firearms, ammunition, perishable items, DVD’s and books, closeout merchandise and “sale” items are final and cannot be refunded, exchanged or processed for instore credit.  Shipping charges are not refundable and customer is responsible for any return shipping fees on exchanged, refunded or credited merchandise both to and from the store/shipping location.  Prior to returning any merchandise for a refund, exchange or for instore credit, please contact store personnel and speak with the shipping department so that WROC can make it efficient and expedite the process for the customer.  Returns normally take 7 to 10 days to complete.  Finally, remember to include a copy of your original sales receipt in any return otherwise we cannot complete the return.  WROC reserves the right to change, modify or alter the “RETURN POLICY” of the firm at any time and will post the changes on the website and store location(s).  Thank you.  COD’s on returns are not accepted.

*Like new condition means just that – like new.  Any item returned damaged, dirty, containing odors or having packaging damaged or missing cannot and will not be issued a refund, offered for exchange or issued store credit.  Items returned to WROC in this condition will be returned to the customer at the expense of the customer.

If any package was damaged in shipment, please make note of the damage with the shipper and contact WROC at our phone number or email below prior to returning it.  Some products we sell are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty that requires items to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement and/or repair.

How to Return a Product:

1.      Call us at 307-332-7864 and let us know you would like to return a product;

2.      Wrap the product in the original packaging, with tags and the original receipt;

3.      Close box securely, we are not responsible for product lost during shipping;

4.      Drop the package off at your local shipping office with the following address:

Products should be expected to take 7-10 business days to be delivered back to the WROC location. The returned product will be promptly inspected and, provided the product passes inspection, your merchandise credit will be applied within seven (7) business days. Note, any product return shipped COD will be refused.
Ordering

WROC reserves the right to reject any placed order, and/or or to limit quantities on any order, without reason. If your order is rejected, WROC will attempt to notify you using the e-mail address, phone, or mailing address collected during the order process and completion.  WROC reserves the right to limit or prohibit sales to other dealers, wholesalers or other third-party merchants.

WROCs online prices and selection generally match those in the store(s), but either may vary. Prices and offers are subject to change without notice.

Sales Tax

Wind River Outdoor Company collects sales tax as required by the State of Wyoming and United States.  All transactions within the State of Wyoming will be subject to the sales tax rate applicable to Fremont County.  Sales outside the State of Wyoming are currently exempt from sales tax, however, WROC reserves the right to charge sales tax to any order should the taxing authority where the sale occurred require collection of such amounts.

Account Termination

WROC reserves the right to terminate any order, account or use of the company’s website, social media platforms, mailers or other notices without notice or liability should WROC determine the account or user is fraudulent or in violation of the company’s policies.
